Join us on the exciting 8 day photography trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. During the trip we will discover two famous cities - both beautiful and so different. We will visit many well-known places which you were curious about, but also explore some non-touristy areas with the help of Anna, who is a local, fluent in Dutch, English and Russian. More about Anna Golubeva This will be combined with themed photography workshops led by professional photographer Barbara, so be prepared to take a lot of pictures during these days. You will get interesting assignments, learn new photography techniques in the workshops, appropriate to each day's activities with flexible instruction topics to suit photographers of any skill level. Before we fly to Russia, we will have a meeting in Keep the Moment photo studio. We will talk about the photo assignments and get to know each other. After the trip, there will be an option to exhibit your photo's in the studio with an opening party for your friends. See details below.
Here is the preliminary planning, please note that the itinerary might change a bit before and during the trip:
Day 1 – arrival day.
Transfer from airport to Hotel Izmailova-Delta in Moskou ****
Visit Patriarch ponds - the favourite leisure spot for Muscovites and visitors, the place where the writer Bulgakov lived and wrote his famous “Master and Margarita”
Red Square by night - opportunity to see the heart of Moscow lit in the evening lights.
Visit Izmailovsky Kremlin - the market of traditional souvenirs and typical Russian
craftsmanship. We will travel by metro.
Moscow University view point – perfect place for evening panoramas of the city
In the morning we will visit the former residence and now museum of famous Russian writer Tolstoy.
Visit once completely destroyed and then built from scratch Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
After we go across Moskva river to the Gorky Park.
In the evening around 20.00 we leave with the night train to St. Petersburg
Early morning arrival to St. Petersburg, check-in the hotel.
Take a boat tour on the canals of St. Petersburg and go to river Neva.
In the afternoon we visit a place with galery's, designers shops and small healthy restaurants with a beautiful view from the rooftop where you can relax..
We go with the speed boat to the outside park and museum of Peterhof. Enjoy the beauty of “The Versaille” of Saint Petersburg.
Opportunity to visit one of the world's best and biggest museums - Hermitage museum
We will book the tickets online in advance, so we don’t have to stand in line to buy the tickets.
Field Trip to Vyborg - a small historical place close to the border with Finland. Peculiar atmosphere, abandoned architecture, nice local market.
Enjoy St. Petersburg in the morning - free time.
Afternoon - flight back to The Netherlands
Price: The price is per person and based on 2 people staying in a double room included breakfast. At a minimum participation of four people € 1650.
If you want a single room it cost € 319 extra. The price includes flight tickets, airport tax, invitation visa, transfers, hotels in both cities, breakfast and train ticket.

Three sessions in Studio to select and order the photos for the exhibition. A fourth session in the studio will be devoted to preparing for exhibition: hanging the photos on the wall. And then - a party for the opening of the exhibition itself. Price: 300 euro's including drinks and snacks for exhibition. Not included:
